Mackenzie Hengerer, CTMP

Founder Mackenzie Hengerer established The HR Advantage to make work more human.

A mix of both corporate and not for profit experience gives Mackenzie a wide perspective in terms of people issues and strategy development. Whether considering how to bridge silos and bring together cross functioning teams or looking at how to keep staff motivated, Mackenzie has worked with many business owners to solve a wide array of people issues.

Mackenzie began her Human Resources career in Lethbridge, AB working for a cleaning business and slowly transitioned to the world of Manufacturing before settling into Fort Macleod, AB. During this time Mackenzie completed a vast amount of Health & Safety training and gained legislative experience within the Manufacturing & Construction Industry.

She has a strong belief that developing the right values, behaviors and policies is essential in order to deliver business growth and improved performance through people over the long term.

Mackenzie took the leap to work independently to utilize her extensive 10 years of HR & Safety experience to work with a wide range of companies throughout Southern Alberta.

Her warm, disarming personality gives her the unique ability to establish an immediate connection with people. This enables her to understand the nature of the organizational culture and very quickly establish how this is impacting business performance.
